WINEMAKING EXPERTISE
Located amid the lush vineyards of the Niagara wine region, Vineco
International Products is one of Canada’s leading and largest producers of
premium quality wine kits. Originally established by Edward Kendall in 1967, Vineco has
continued to grow over the years. Purchased by Andrew Peller Limited
(formerly Andres Wines) in 1996, Vineco
strengthened its resources and commitment to provide winemakers with exceptional products
built on quality and consistency. From its family roots, Vineco has grown to be an
international company wholesaling over 150 unique styles of wine kits within 10 well
recognized brands globally and providing avid winemakers the choice of many extraordinary
wines from around the world, all year long.
SUPERIOR GRAPE JUICES AND GRAPE
JUICE CONCENTRATES
Vineco’s Quality Assurance Team constantly searches the world to
find the very best ingredients to put in every one of our wine kits. All of the grape
juices and grape juice concentrates that we use are the highest “winemaking”
quality available that, incidentally, are made available to many major commercial
wineries. Before we accept any grape juices and grape juice concentrates, samples are
thoroughly tested for pesticide content, presence of heavy metals, brix, acid levels, and
sensory components including colour, aroma and flavour characteristics.
STATE-OF-THE-ART PRODUCTION
Our computer controlled processing equipment guarantees each kit is
manufactured with the highest level of quality, consistency and freshness. Our
state-of-the-art HTST (High Temperature Short Time) flash pasteurization production
equipment preserves the natural character of the grape juices ensuring outstanding wines
with distinctive flavours, bouquet and character. Our computer controlled aseptic
processing and packaging operation is a gentle process that thermally stabilizes the
juices and concentrates, which improves the shelf life of each kit.
EXCEPTIONAL QUALITY CONTROL
Our on-site lab is fully equipped with the most advanced technology
available for testing our products throughout the manufacturing process. During
production, random kits are removed from the production line and tested to ensure each kit
is of the same consistent high quality. Prior to releasing any kits for sale, a random
sample from each batch is removed and plated in our lab to ensure that each batch is
completely sterile. This process takes 5 days and only products that pass these strict
tests are allowed to leave our facility.
